Pigment Violet 1 (Pigment Violet 1) has 22 types of commercial formulations, which are triarylmethane oxanthracene derivatives, giving a red purple, no matter the color light or fastness properties are similar to Pigment Violet 2. Generally, it has higher coloring strength, vividness, purer color, and light fastness is half grade higher than Pigment Violet 2, but the printing ink sample is slightly poor in solvent resistance, soap resistance and cream resistance.
