Flame Retardant for Polyester Emp Texfr-300
Product Description
Properties:
Appearance: Milky sticky liquid;Chemical ingredient: Phosphonate ester;Content: 90±1%; Solubility: easily dissolved into water; Safety: Meet requirements of international ecological textile standards.
Application:
Polyester fabric shall be treated with Alkali reduction before treating with flame retardant because of worse water adsorption of polyester fiber. The aim of alkali reduction is to eliminate impurity, oil stain and other chemicals on the surface of fabric to increase effect of flame resistance.
Recipes:
EMP TEXFR-300: 20-30g/L
Accelerating agent: 1g/L;
Treating temperature: 95-100ºC;
Treating time: 30-60min
Flame Retarding treatment
Amount of flame retardant is depended on gram weight of fabric and pick-up rate of treatment.
A: Recipes:
Flame Retardant EMP TEXFR-300: 120-180 g/L;
Anti-migration agent EMP NEW-330: 1g/L;
Trisodium phosphate: Adjust pH to 6.5.
B: Preparation of treatment liquid of Flame Retardant
Firstly, part of water is added, and then EMP TEXFR-300 is added and stirred to dissolve completely,trisodium phosphate is added to adjust pH to 6., anti-migration agent is added, and then residual water is added to adjust to total weight.
Prepared flame retardant liquid shall be used within one day, elsewise pH must be readjusted before use.
C: Treatment Process
The above recipes and process can be changed according to different fabrics and treating condition.
Pre-test shall be done to confirm the compatibility of other chemicals with flame retardant.
Heat-setting temperature and time decide the fixing rate of flame retardant. Too low temperature has influence on wash resistance and flame retarding effect.
Package:
25KG/plastic drum. The produce mast be kept under steal, and the shelf time is 12 months at normal temperature.
