1). Property:
White or light-yellow granular, powder or fine powder
Water soluble compound derived from natural fiber
Viscosity range: 5cps (2% Soln. ) -7000cps (1% Soln. )
Degree of Substitution (D. S): 0.6-1.2
Purity: 40%-99.8%
2). Application:
Food: Beverage, Bakery product, Dairy product, Ice cream, Instant noodle, Meat product, Frozen desserts, Fast-dissolving food, Canned food, Dressings&Sauces, etc.
Other Industry: Ceramics, Oil drilling, Paper-making, Toothpaste, Daily-use chemical, Paint, Printing&Dyeing, Detergent, Battery, Tobacco, Personal care, etc.
3). Function:
1)Thickening: CMC can produce high viscosity at low concentration. It also acts as lubricant.
2)Water retention: CMC is a water binder, helps increase shelf life of food.
3)Suspending aid: CMC acts as emulsifier and suspension stabilizer, particularly in icings to control ice crystal size.
4)Film forming: CMC can produce a film on the surface of fried food, eg. Instant noodle, and prevent absorption of excessive vegetable oil.
5)Chemical stability: CMC is resistant to heat, light, mold and commonly used chemicals.
6)Physiologically inert: CMC as a food Additive has no caloric value and can not be metabolized.

25kg kraft paper bag with PE inner or 25kg PP bag
5). Storage:
Sealed up, shady and cool, drying place
Shelf life 24 months under the suitable condition
